Circuit

A circuit is a complete, closed loop that provides a path for electric current to flow. A basic circuit consists of a voltage source (like a battery), conductors (wires), and a load (like a light bulb). Current flows from the source, through the conductor, through the load, and back to the source. If the loop is broken at any point (an “open circuit”), current stops flowing.
