Conductor

A conductor is a material that allows electric current to flow through it easily because it contains many free electrons. Metals like copper, aluminum, silver, and gold are excellent conductors. Copper is the most commonly used conductor in electrical wiring due to its excellent conductivity, flexibility, and reasonable cost. The ease with which a material conducts electricity is inversely related to its resistance.
