Electrical Shock

safety

Electrical shock is an injury caused by electric current flowing through the human body. It occurs when a person contacts an energized conductor and a ground or another conductor, completing a circuit through their body. The severity depends on the amount of current, the path it takes through the body, and the duration of contact. Even small currents (as low as 100 milliamps) can be fatal if they pass through the heart.
