Energy

Electrical energy is the capacity to do work using electric power over time, measured in joules (J) or more commonly in kilowatt-hours (kWh) for utility billing. One kWh equals the energy used by a 1,000-watt device running for one hour. Energy is what you pay for on your electric bill.
